Since 2015 this event has raised more than $173,000 towards better cancer care at Belleville General Hospital!!!

 

 

Proceeds from The Gaetane Harvey Memorial Walk will go towards ensuring that those fighting cancer can do so close to home at their local community hospital, surrounded by their friends and family.

Helping to make cancer care just a little bit easier.

 

Items that the funds raised have helped to purchase include:

  • Diagnostic equipment throughout BGH - areas such as Diagnostic Imaging, OR/Surgery, and Laboratory
  • Smaller comfort care items in our Oncology Clinic including heated blankets and comfortable chairs
  • Medication and tests for patients who need assistance with the cost of these items
